CHERRY HILL — Stradley Ronon partner Stephanie Sanderson-Braem and associate Andrew Barron presented an estate planning workshop through Volunteer UP Legal Clinic on April 29. The event, hosted at the Cherry Hill Public Library, was free to attend for South Jersey community members.
The presentation covered fundamentals of estate planning such as wills, trusts, general and health care powers of attorney, advanced health care directives and powers of attorney. Stephanie and Andrew discussed the importance of these documents and the primary considerations when developing them.
Stephanie focuses her practice on estate and tax planning, trust and estate administration, and estate and trust litigation. She advises a wide variety of clients in business succession planning, lifetime giving and charitable giving in addition to the preparation and implementation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Andrew represents executors, administrators, trustees and beneficiaries in all aspects of trust and estate administration. He drafts and reviews wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives and other estate and business planning documents.
Volunteer UP Legal Clinic connects clients in Camden, New Jersey, and surrounding communities with lawyers who volunteer to provide pro bono legal services. Stradley Ronon partner David Roeber and managing counsel Corey Norcross both serve on the clinic’s advisory board and sit on the founding board of directors.
